Greatest accomplishment from lifting and/or fitness in general?
I have made some great physical progress through the years. But, one of the best accomplishments has been becoming a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Since 1997, I have been able to have a career that I look forward to doing each and every day. I enjoy helping others learn about proper nutrition and fitness intensity. It is such a rewarding career to help inspire and watch your clients transform.

Favorite exercise to do in the gym?
I enjoy training legs in general. Squats, deadlifts and step ups are a few of my favorite moves.

Ever have guys challenge you in any sports, arm wrestling or wrestling? If so what happened?  (Optional)
I was first challenged to an arm wrestling contest in the 5th grade. It was a battle of the sexes. The strongest boy and the strongest girl were picked. I won 2 out of 3 in front of the entire 5th grade class! A victory for me that helped boost my ego! I’m proud of my strength and always welcome a challenge.

I occasionally get a guy who is surprised to see me under the squat rack or loading up the leg press. But, most people are getting used to the weights I use after seeing me in the gym for years working out and training others. I will have guys who come to me for a workout.  I have been able to put my fair share of guys through a killer workout to the point of their entire body shaking.

Anything you would like to add or tell your fans?
My personal goals are to challenge myself physically and mentally and to work towards taking my body further each day.  As my body changes so do my goals. I’m always striving for more. I think that’s what keeps most of us going.  I would like to see how far I can go and potentially work towards doing my first fitness contest. This would be a huge challenge for me but a great experience as well. It has also been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to do fitness modeling too. But, family, fitness career and clients come first to me. So, we will see about that one!

Professionally I would like to inspire and help transform as many people I can through personal training. I want others to know that anything is possible if you have the right attitude and commitment.

I think a company that wants a fitness model to use for their spokesperson, would do well in selecting Kim. She has beauty, strength and the physic that would draw attention to anything they were selling!
